February 16, 2024: Bollywood Actor Ranveer Singh will begin his shooting for Basil Joseph's film ‘Shaktimaan’ immediately after wrapping up the shoot for Farhan Akhtar-directed film 'Don 3'.

The movie ‘Shaktimaan’ will start production in May of the following year. The film is scheduled for release in 2026.

As per sources, the film has been in the writing stage for over three years now and the team has finally cracked a script that’s worthy of doing justice to the legacy of Shaktimaan. The film will be directed by Basil Joseph, with Sony Pictures India and Sajid Nadiadwala as the producers”.
