March 23, 2024: A one-horned rhinoceros was killed by suspected poachers at Kaziranga National Park in Assam. The rhino was found dead on Saturday morning. The incident happened at Tunikati Forest camp area of ​​Burhapahar forest area.

Reportedly, the forest officials have claimed that the poachers fled with the severed horn of the rhino and are still on the run.
