October 4, 2023: During re-investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team, a mobile phone has been recovered from the vehicle of controversial Sub-Inspector of Morikolong Police Station Junmoni Rabha on Wednesday after 5 months of her death.

Junmoni Rabha was killed in road accident in Nagaon district of Assam on May 16, 2023. The accident took place when the cop Junmoni who was driving the car towards the Upper Assam direction collided with a container truck on the highway. Though the cop was taken to the hospital but the doctor declared her brought dead.

This is for the fifth time the CBI team is re-investigating case. Today, the whole CBI team reached the accident site with a demo Container Truck and an S-Presso vehicle for more information.

Earlier, the case was investigated by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
