February 16, 2024: On the first day of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination 2024, the English subject question paper has been leaked or went viral within half an hour of the exam commencement from one of the exam centres of Cachar district in Assam on Friday.

Reportedly, the question paper went viral on social media via mobile phone. The papers were allegedly leaked from the Banskandi N.M.H.S. School examination centre.

An allegation has been raised against a teacher identified as Hyder Hussain Majumder who is deployed in the centre.

Therefore, the Education Department and Assam Police have started investigating on the matter. Further details are awaited.
