September 5, 2023: Assam Police arrested a fake doctor from a hotel in Guwahati, Assam on Tuesday. The fraud has been identified as Paramesh Chakraborty.

Reportedly, the fraud was arrested after a complaint lodged by the doctors’ union from Jyoti Kuchi Shankar Hotel.

The doctors’ union claimed that the fraud Paramesh had opened a fake chamber in a pharmacy called Charulakshmi Ayush at the hotel and had been working for the past 10 years.

Police have seized many illegal documents, prescriptions, and pads from the fake doctor.
