March 15, 2024: A dead body of a girl has been found in Christian Basti area in Guwahati, Assam on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Trishna Kakati.

Reportedly, the girl was in a live-in relationship with her beau Bishnu Dev Koch in a rented house. Therefore, Dispur Police has arrested the alleged boyfriend.

According to police officials, Bishnu Dev Koch has a wife and children in Morigaon. He was being repeatedly pressured by the deceased Trishna for marriage.

Police has started investigating the matter.
