March 29, 2023: The Chief Judicial Magistrate Court of Kamrup (M) on Wednesday granted bail to a person identified as Chittraranjan Rai who was accused in High Secondary Leaving Certificate (HSLC) paper leak case in Assam.

On the other hand, the court has rejected the bail plea of two other persons named Jyoti Rekha Bargohain and Heramba Kumar Das.

Many persons were arrested and detained by police across Assam in connection to the paper leak case.
