July 24, 2020: Good news for IPL fans. Its final. The IPL 2020 will start from September 19 in UAE.

The formal announcement may come next week after the IPL Governing Body meeting.

As per information received so far, the IPL will start on September 19 and the final will be played on November 8. Due to the Covid situation, this time, the organisers have decided to shift the venue to UAE. However, the final decision will be announced only after getting clearance from the Indian government.

Apart from the Emirates Cricket Board, the Sri Lankan board too had offered to host the premier tournament.

Each team will leave their bases August 20. They will require at least 4 weeks time to acclimatise.
