May 27, 2023: The World Health Organisation (WHO) chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has warned the world to get ready for next pandemic named ‘Disease X’.

According to WHO, Disease X will be more deadlier than COVID-19.  The term ‘Disease X’ represents the knowledge that a serious international epidemic could be caused by a pathogen currently unknown to cause human disease.

Though WHO started using the term in 2018, COVID-19 began to spread across the world a year later.
