March 30, 2023: Three more persons have been arrested in connection to the violence that broke out between the pro-Khalistani supporters and Indian Demonstrators in Melbourne, Australia in late January.



Total of five persons have been arrested since January.

According to the Victoria Police, some flag poles were used by several men as weapons which caused physical injuries to multiple victims during the fight. Pepper spray was used as per the police statement.



On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Anthony Albanese had discussed about the disturbances created by pro-Khalistani supporters in Australia and the Australian PM assured that his government will take all necessary measures to ensure that peace and harmony prevail.
