Kamala Harris’s Campaign Gets Bollywood Boost with ‘Nacho Nacho’ Song

September 9, 2024: Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign has taken a vibrant turn in the 2024 presidential race with the release of a Bollywood-inspired campaign song titled ‘Nacho Nacho.’ The campaign initiative, spearheaded by prominent South Asian leader and National Finance Committee member Ajay Bhutoria, aims to energize and mobilize support from the South Asian community.



The 1.5-minute video features a Hindi rendition of the hit track ‘Naatu Naatu’ from the blockbuster film 'RRR,' rebranded as ‘Nacho Nacho.’ This upbeat and lively adaptation is designed to engage the approximately 5 million South Asian voters in pivotal battleground states such as Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona.





Bhutoria, a key figure in Harris's campaign, emphasized that Kamala Harris represents a “brighter future” for the South Asian community. 



The video, which is also titled ‘Hamari Ye Kamala Harris,’ features vibrant Bollywood-style visuals interspersed with scenes from Harris’s campaign.This blend of political messaging and cultural flair aims to resonate deeply with South Asian voters and bolster their engagement in the electoral process.
