May 12, 2023: Elon Musk on Thursday announced that he has hired a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Twitter.
Taking to Twitter, Elon Musk said, "Excited to announce that I’ve hired a new CEO for X/Twitter. She will be starting in ~6 weeks! My role will transition to being exec chair & CTO, overseeing product, software & sysops."
According to some sources, Linda Yaccarino is rumoured to be the new CEO of Twitter. She is the head of advertising at NBC Universal.
