September 20, 2023: Assam Girl Ankita Debnath shining in Bollywood by showing her Makeup creativity in movies like Jawan, Gangubai Kathiawadi and many more. She is originally from Dibrugarh.

Ankita went to Mumbai to pursue her dreams at the age of 22 and she basically does the prosthetic makeup.

Prosthetic makeup, which is also referred to as special make-up effects or FX prosthesis, is the process of using prosthetic sculpting, moulding, and casting techniques to create advanced cosmetic effects.

Recently, Ankita has worked in Shah Rukh Khan’s Blockbuster movie ‘Jawan’ as chief prosthetic artist and Chief makeup artist. Jawan is an action thriller film co-written and directed by Atlee. Besides SRK, Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and many more have acted in the movie.

Ankita has also worked in movies and series like Shyam Singha Roy (Sai Pallavi - Asst prosthetic artist), Mumbai Meri Jaan (Asst prosthetic Artist), Cartel (Asst Prosthetic Artist), Gangubai Kathiawadi (Asst prosthetic artist), Mister Mummy (prosthetic artist), Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar (Makeup Artist), Ghoomer (chief prosthetic artist) and many more.

She has also worked for TV ads such as Ambuja Cement (assistant prosthetic artist), Thums Up (chief prosthetic artist) and Jack & Jones (creative artist).

Some of her works which are yet to be released are - Paresh Rawal (chief prosthetic artist), The Village (chief prosthetic artist), Skanda (chief prosthetic artist), Project K Ashwathama (asst prosthetic artist) and Heeramandi (prosthetic Artist).
