December 9, 2023: Sensation prevailed at the Bilaipur area in Hailakandi, Assam on Saturday after a woman was allegedly stabbed to death by some miscreants. The deceased has been identified as Anubala Roy.

Reportedly, some miscreants entered the deceased’s house and stabbed her with sharp weapons in front of her daughter. The deceased’s daughter has also been injured in the attack. However, the reason behind the incident is not known yet.

The injured daughter has been undergoing treatment at Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH).

As per reports, police have started to investigate the matter.
