May 12, 2023: The Islamabad High Court on Friday granted bail to former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan for two weeks in Al-Qadir Trust Case.

The PTI chairman was arrested by the rangers from outside the Islamabad High Court on May 9. He was detained in connection with the Al-Qadir Trust land deal case and indicted in the Toshakhana case.

However, the Supreme Court announced that his arrest was illegal because no one can be arrested from inside the court premises. So, SC ordered his release on May 11.
