November 18, 2023: At least eight people including a student were allegedly hit by a speedy vehicle at Gerukabari area in Bongaigaon, Assam on Saturday morning.

Reportedly, the accident took place after the driver of the vehicle lost control and hit around two shops.

A person identified as Tegh Bahadur has been taken to a hospital in Bongaigaon after being critically injured. Another two persons named Ramchandra Sarkar and Sukumar Acharjya who were injured are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Kajalgaon area.
