December 9, 2023: Two persons from a gang who were carrying arms and ammunition have been arrested in Kaliabor, Assam on Saturday during an operation.

Reportedly, the arrested persons have been identified as Krishna Lohar and Krishna Ganju. Both of them are residents of Sonari village.

Police have recovered a gun from the miscreant Krishna Lohar. However, the remaining gang members are still on the run.

As per sources, the gang had created panic among the people in Kaliabor Tea Estate by threatening them to kill with arms and ammunition. Therefore, Police personnel are working on it to nab those miscreants.

Police started to investigate the matter immediately after the news was telecasted on the DY365 channel. Police conducted search operations in different places of Kaliabor such as Hatimura, Silghat, Sonari village and many more.
