February 3, 2023: Assam Police have arrested total of 2044 persons in connection to child marriage-related cases across the state so far.
A total of 4074 cases have been registered.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday said that the action against child marriage in the state will continue in the coming days.
