January 9, 2024: Mohammed Shami received Arjuna Award on Tuesday by the President of India  Droupadi Murmu at the National Sports Awards held in Delhi.





The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recommended Shami's name after his sensational innings in Cricket World Cup 2023.



Along with Mohammed Shami, 26 other athletes have also received the award.
