September 30, 2023: The ICC World Cup 2023 warm-up match between India and England which was about to be held in Guwahati’s Barsapara stadium on Saturday got delayed due to heavy rainfall. The groundsmen immediately rushed to the ground and quickly covered the field.

Earlier, the Indian Cricket team arrived in Guwahati last Thursday for the match.

The Indian Cricket squad for the warm-up match against England are Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami and Ravichandran Ashwin.
