September 5, 2023: The Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced the names of India's 15-member squad for the ICC men's Cricket World Cup 2023.



The members are Rohit Sharma (Captain), Hardik Pandya (Vice-captain), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan, KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd. Shami, Mohd. Siraj, and Kuldeep Yadav.



The announcement was made by Captain Rohit Sharma and BCCI chief selector Ajit Agarkar in Kandy, Sri Lanka.







The ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 will be the 13th edition of the CWC which will be held from 5 October to November 19. Team India will begin its campaign against Australia in Chennai on October 8.
