February 24, 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held a roadshow in Shillong, ahead of Meghalaya Assembly election.

The roadshow started from Central Library to Police Bazaar. A massive response was received as people gathered on both sides of the road through which PM Modi’s cavalcade passed.

More than 1,000 securities were deployed in the route of the roadshow in Shillong.

The Meghalaya Assembly Election will be held on February 27 and the counting of votes will take place on March 2.
