March 2, 2023:  A woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh on Monday allegedly sets her 5-year-old daughter named Vandana on fire for not obeying her rules.

According to sources, the woman identified as Asha Devi was angry with her children Vandana and son Kunal. Both the children were playing outside the house. Asha got angry when both of them disobeyed her when she asked them to come back home a little early in the evening.

Later, when both of them returned, she beats them up and poured a sanitizer bottle on Vandana and burnt her alive. But when Asha Devi tried to save Vandana till then it was too late.

Though Vandana was taken to a nearby hospital, the doctor declared brought dead.

As per reports, the police arrested the woman identified as Asha Devi on Tuesday based on the complaint filed by her husband named Bhanu Pratap Singh.
