October 18, 2024: In a tragic incident, a non-local was shot dead by terrorists in the Zainapora area of Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir, on Thursday. The victim’s body has been transported to a nearby hospital for examination as security forces swiftly arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation.

This incident comes on the heels of heightened tensions in the region. Earlier this month, an Indian Army soldier was found dead in Anantnag district after being abducted by terrorists. The soldier, one of two kidnapped during a joint operation by the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police, suffered multiple bullet wounds before one of his comrades managed to escape.
