JULY 19, 2024: In a shocking turn of events, Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the daughter of Dubai's ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has seemingly asked her husband, Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, for a divorce through a bold and direct Instagram post. The royal couple, who announced their engagement in March of last year, have been in the public eye, with their union being celebrated across various media platforms. However, it appears that the fairy-tale romance has come to an abrupt end.

On Instagram, Sheikha Mahra, 30, posted a message that has left many in shock. "Dear Husband, As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce,” she wrote. The post continued with an unmistakable tone of finality: “I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife.” This public announcement has led to widespread speculation about the reasons behind the sudden split, with many interpreting her words as an accusation of infidelity on Sheikh Mana's part. 

The Arabian Royal Agency had initially announced their engagement, a significant event that was later confirmed by Sheikh Mana’s father with an official poem congratulating the couple.
