August 12, 2024: A street hawker allegedly raped a 8 year old girl after luring her with cotton candy in Madhya Pradesh on Monday. As reports, a street hawker who allegedly raped the minor girl on Saturday has been arrested by the police.

Superintendent of Police Asit Yadav said that he incident took place in Gohad town on Saturday night and was reported on Sunday.  

As per the complaint, the hawker lured the girl by offering her a cotton candy, and then he took her to his home and allegedly raped her.

The man later gave 20 rupees to the girl.

The incident came in light after her mother asked her about 20 rupees with her.
