April 10, 2024: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday released its 10th list of nine candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024.



The party dropped the actor turned politician and the sitting Member of Parliament (MP) Kirron Kher from the Lok Sabha seat of Chandigarh and fielded Sanjay Tandon in place of her.



Tandon is the party's co-incharge for Himachal Pradesh and is the son of former Chhattisgarh governor late Balramji Das Tandon who was one of the founding members of the Jan Sangh and later also served as Punjab BJP chief.
