August 24, 2024:  A team of experts from Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL), Delhi reached Kolkata for a polygraph test that will conduct today on former RG Kar Medical College and Hospital’s principal Sandip Ghosh and others over alleged rape and murder of a trainee doctor, sources said on Saturday.

Sources said that the polygraph test will be held on Sandip Ghosh, Sanjay Roy, the main accused, four doctors and one volunteer.

The test of the main accused will be held in jail while others have been called at the CBI office in Kolkata, sources added.

Earlier in the day, Kolkata police said that as per the order of the court, all documents about the alleged financial irregularities in RG Kar have been handed over to CBI by SIT.
