February 5, 2024: Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren on Monday won the trust vote in the state Assembly with Support of 47 MLAs.



As per reports, Champai Soren was given ten days to prove his government’s majority on the floor of the House, following which he set the date for the trust vote as February 5.





The trust vote of the government started with former Chief Minister Hemant Soren reaching the state assembly to take part in the process.



Hemant Soren was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with an alleged land scam case.
