March 21, 2023: Amid the crackdown against the “Waris Punjab De” chief Amritpal Singh, four more Khalistani leaders were brought to Dibrugarh, Assam from Punjab amid tight security on Tuesday.

Reportedly, four leaders were brought in two special flights – one flight carrying two accused leaders landed in Dibrugarh Airport today and another two leaders landed on Monday night at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBI Airport) in Guwahati.

Later, the two leaders who landed at LGBI Airport were taken to Dibrugarh in a vehicle on Monday night.

Amritpal Singh Sandhu is a self-styled Indian Khalistani and a fugitive from Punjab. He returned from Dubai to India to become the leader of the organisation “Waris Panjab De” after the death of its previous leader Deep Sidhu in a car accident but his position is disputed. He is alleged to have many links to Pakistan's intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence and terror groups.
