January 7, 2025: Popular actor Allu Arjun visited the KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad’s Begumpet on Tuesday to meet Sri Teja, a young boy seriously injured during a tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre. The incident occurred during the premiere of Arjun's latest blockbuster, Pushpa 2: The Rule. The child is currently undergoing treatment for his injuries.
Videos and pictures of Arjun at the hospital quickly circulated on social media, showing him arriving in a green sweater and black pants. Accompanied by his team, the actor’s visit drew significant public attention despite efforts to maintain confidentiality. Telangana State Film Development Corporation (FDC) Chairman Dil Raju was also present during the visit.
To ensure public safety and prevent overcrowding, security was heightened around the hospital. The visit had initially been scheduled for January 5 but was postponed. The Ramgopalpet Police Station's SHO had issued a notice to Arjun advising him to keep the visit low-key to avoid disruption. Authorities assured the actor of necessary security arrangements.
Fans and well-wishers have praised Allu Arjun’s gesture, calling it a sign of his compassion and concern for those affected by the unfortunate incident. The Sandhya Theatre stampede, which occurred during the highly anticipated film premiere, has been a somber moment in what was otherwise a celebration of Arjun's cinematic success.
