March 6, 2024: Five people of a family were killed and four others injured when two LPG cylinders exploded in a house in Lucknow. The incident took place on Tuesday night in the Hata Hazrat Sahab area.

Reportedly, the blast was preceded by a fire, which was said to be caused by a short circuit. After receiving information, three teams of fire brigade reached the spot and with the help of locals managed to douse the fire.

The nine members of the family were rushed to the Trauma Centre of King George Medical University for treatment. But five of them lost their lives.

The deceased have been identified as Mushir, Husn Bano, Raiya, Uma, and Hina. On the other hand, the injured persons have been identified as Isha, Lakab, Amjad, and Anam.
