September 21, 2023: Actor Akhil Mishra who is popularly known for his Librarian character in the movie "3 Idiots" has passed away today in an accident at the age of 58.

According to sources, the actor was working in his kitchen and slipped.

The actor's wife Suzanne Bernert was in Hyderabad for a shoot when the incident happened.

Akhil acted in television serials like Bhanwar, Yum Hain Hum, Pradhanmantri, The Adventures of Hatim, Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se, Uttaran, Udaan, Mera Dil Dewaana, Pardes Mein Mila Koi Apna, and many more.

Apart from 3 Idiots, he also acted in movies like Radio, Blue Oranges, Don, Kram, Well Done Abba, Gandhi My Father, Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin, Shikhar, Calcutta Mail, Kareeb, Dhat Tere Ki, Kamla Ki Maut etc etc.
