November 20, 2023: Triggering sensation, an undressed woman was found lying in unconscious condition at Guwahati College Traffic Point in Bamunimaidan area on Monday.

Locals claimed that the victim had been raped by some unknown miscreants and later dumped her near the roadside. Her clothes were also recovered from the place. The victim was rescued by Chandmari Police immediately after receiving information.

Reportedly, the victim is currently undergoing treatment at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).

Police investigation is on and the victim’s identification is not known yet.
