November 22, 2022: Two persons have been detained in connection to Ranjit Bora murder case on Tuesday.

The two detained persons have been identified as Raja Das and Shahidul. They are workers of Bamboo Heights Restaurants in Guwahati.

On Monday, Ranjit Bora who was a distributor of Purabi Dairy was opened fire by some bike-borne miscreants near Panjabari road in Guwahati, Assam.

The incident took place when the deceased Ranjit Bora was on his way to the bank to deposit money in his car following which two bike-borne miscreants opened fire on his neck.

He was immediately taken to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Guwahati but declared dead by the doctor.
