December 5, 2021: Amid the rising number of COVID cases, Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Superintendent Dr Abhijit Sarma said on Wednesday (Jan 5) that the premier medical institute of the region is ready to handle any situation.



Sharing data on COVID cases, the Superintendent said that 1,132 Covid cases were reported in the last 4 days in Guwahati and as many as 140 COVID patients are undergoing treatment at GMCH. Forty-two new COVID patients were admitted on Tuesday.
