August 15, 2024: When the entire country is celebrating Independence Day on Thursday, ULFA claimed to plant bombs in 19 different places of entire Assam. In a mail to DY365, ULFA shared names of the places and photos where they plant those bombs.

On 15 August from morning 6 am to noon 12 pm, ULFA planned to do military protest in Assam, but due to some technical glitch they had withdrawn their plan, ULFA wrote in the email.

ULFA mentioned all the 19 places in their mail and requested to defuse all the bombs they have planted for the wellbeing of civilians.

After the ULFA’s declaration, Police have recovered the first bomb like materials form near the DTO of Sibsagar. Police have started immediate search operation in all the 19 places.
