December 15, 2021: A massive eviction drive was carried out at Basistha Chariali by Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) on Wednesday.

It was seen that a large number of people were running their business of selling fruits and vegetables and various other items around roadside areas, footpaths which was causing traffic congestions in the city.

Hence, this eviction drive was carried out by Guwahati Municipal Corporation.
