June 27, 2022: In a tragic accident, a salesman working at the Kia Motors showroom near Saru Sajai in Guwahati was knocked down and killed by a speeding garbage carrying vehicle of Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC).
The accident took place in Hatigaon area of Guwahati. Agitated mob gheraoed the vehicle and blocked the Hatigaon-Beltola road.
