February 22, 2024: Continuing its operation against illegal cattle smuggling on the Indo-Bangladesh border, Assam Police seized a vehicle loaded with seven cattle from the bank of Brahmaputra River on Wednesday night.

Reportedly, Salkosha Police seized the vehicle while the smugglers trying to transport the cattle to Bangladesh across the river.

As per sources, the smugglers fled from the scene after receiving information about police arrival. Search operation in on.
