November 22, 2022: Two road accidents where around a total of seven persons lost their lives at Kaliabor and Bihaguri in Assam on Monday night.

Out of the seven, five people were killed following a head-on collision between a truck and a car in Assam’s Nagaon district on National Highway-37 in the Hatiakhua area under Kaliabor Sub-Division.

The passengers were coming from Bokakhat to attend a marriage ceremony in Tezpur’s Misamari died on spot.

The five deceased have been identified as Bibek Das, Sanjay Das, Sameer Paul, Vikash Sarma and Sandeep Paul.

The other accident where two people lost their lives were riding a bike following which they lost control after returning from the same marriage ceremony in Bihaguri.

The deceased in the motorbike accident has been identified as Biju Singh and Suman Talukdar.
