March 21, 2023: Three more persons have been arrested on Tuesday from Lakhimpur, Assam in connection to High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examinations paper leak case.

The two arrested persons identified as Jaganath Pegu and Purnakanta Pegu are teachers by profession and the third one is identified as Tutu Sharma.

Assam Police on Monday detained a total of five persons related to the case from different places. Out of five, two were asked to leave the police station as they didn’t find any valid reasons based on the case.

Reportedly, the three arrested persons sold the question paper to three different students after buying from Pranab Dutta, the mastermind of the paper leak case.
