September 12, 2022: Dispur Police has arrested seven persons for promising government jobs in recently held recruitment process from Borbari, Guwahati in Assam on Sunday night.
The seven people have been identified as Nayan Saikia of Kahilipara, Sirajul Haque of Mangaldoi, Govind Chowdhury of Nalbari, Noor Islam Ahmed, Pranjal Barman of Nalbari, Jayanta Deka of Basistha and Jayanta Das of Goalpara.
According to Police, they were camping at a lodge and preparing name list for jobs in Water Resources Department.
