March 27, 2023: The first rhino killing of the year has been reported in Kaziranga National Park.
Reportedly, a rhino has been killed by some poachers and escaped with the horn in Kaziranga National Park, Assam.
Though the incident took place 4-5 days ago at the Bagori range, the body of the rhino was recovered on Sunday.
Forest officials and police personnel reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
