May 17, 2023:  A massive fire broke out at Bandar Chalia in Titabar, Assam on Tuesday night.

Reportedly, around thirteen commercial organizations like clothing stores, hotel which properties worth Rs 90 lakhs gutted in the fire.

Locals immediately informed the police. Some of the fire tenders from Jorhat, Mariani and Titabar reached the spot and managed to douse the fire.

According to sources, the reason behind the fire is due to short circuits.
