February 24, 2023: A notorious dacoit named Kenaram Basumatary killed in a police encounter in Udalguri, Assam on Friday.
The incident took place when the dacoit tried to flee from a residence in the Daifang area.
As per reports, the injured dacoit died on the way to the Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh.
The deceased was recently released on bail.
