January 31, 2024: In a search operation, a huge amount of drugs was seized at Churaibari Check Post on the Assam-Tripura border on Wednesday. Two people have also been arrested by the police.



Reportedly, police seized around 275 kg of marijuana packed in 45 packets from a truck hidden in a secret chamber. However, the market value of the seized marijuana is estimated to be Rs 20 lakh.



The arrested smugglers have been identified as Deep Kumar Hajong and Rajib Kalita who are residents of Boko.
