July 21, 2022: The self-styled 'Acharya', an Ayurveda practitioner Pankaj Pathak has been arrested by police on Thursday for making derogatory comments against a female journalist of Assam on social media.

A day before, he was detained from Howly where he was hiding for last few days.

He has been taken for medical examination at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Guwahati.

According to reports, at least 26 complain have been lodged against him in different police stations of Assam.
