September 26, 2023: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday inaugurated the Assam Bhawan at Vellore in Tamil Nadu.

As per reports, the Bhawan which include 40 double-bed rooms, two VIP and VVIP suits, one seven-bed female dormitory, three five-bed male dormitories, three four-bedrooms and a 2BHK apartment and office for the Joint Resident Commissioner has been built at a cost of Rs 23 crore.

Assam CM will also offer his prayers at the famous Maa Kamakshi Amman temple at Kanchipuram.
