April 4, 2025: A shocking robbery incident has once again stirred the city, with miscreants looting nearly ₹6 lakh from an ATM user at Jail Road in Fancy Bazar.

According to reports, the victim, identified as Anil Sharma, had come to deposit the money at the Union Bank ATM when the criminals attacked. The assailants used chili powder to blind him before making off with the cash.

As soon as the incident was reported, teams from Fancy Bazar and Panbazar police stations reached the spot. Authorities have begun investigating the case, closely analyzing CCTV footage from the ATM premises.

However, in a surprising twist, the police have raised suspicions about Anil Sharma’s movements at the ATM, suggesting that the entire incident may not be as straightforward as it seems. Officials have hinted that further details will soon emerge as the investigation progresses.
